The early morning mist rises ...
broken the horizon and only the birds in the trees to my right are with me. I will soon be visiting them as I search for my ball amongst the trees, but for now I am content to gaze in wonder at the beauty before me and contemplate the round to come.
This feeling at the beginning of a wonderful couple of hours alone on a pristine course with no one else in view is very much like the feeling I have at the beginning of the blogging adventure. There will be some odd moments where I slice one off into the trees or overshoot the green, but there will be those wonderful moments too, like a chip in from the sand or draining a 50 footer.
I remember watching Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire when he was setting up his “job interview” by placing crank calls. My favourite call was his “I am job!” You can just imagine the desire and intensity of someone trying to get a job.
Now that I am stepping into the blogiverse I am feeling somewhat like the imaginary character might have felt. I want this blog to be interesting, informative and entertaining. I have no idea who will read this as time marches onward, but I do want you to have a great time and come back regularly.
This blog is part of WolfPawRoad.COM which is a golf web site (at least it will be — currently this blog is the start of it — so most of the posts will have something to do with golf. There will be the odd post (like this one) that are not directly related to the theme but that will be the exception.
I’m not exactly sure where this journey will lead, but I’m hoping that you will enjoy it with me. This could be the start of another beautiful friendship. Let’s tee it up!

I’d love to play 18 holes with Robin. I’d have to restrict my liquids for 24 hours before hand to avoid embarassment 8=)
