One Foot, Two Foot, Red Foot, Blue Foot
Look at your feet. Have you ever considered how important your feet are? How they form the foundation of your stance? How they move you around the golf course? How they carry you throughout your life?
Feet may not always be pretty, or smell so sweet. But they are beautiful. They are the starting point for most physical fitness activities. I will be posting a series of articles entitled Two Feet at a Time dealing with some of the things that I do in an attempt to get into better condition and I will come at things from a different angle — my feet and the footwear (or lack thereof) that the activity involves.
I hope that you will find them fun and possibly informative. Stay tuned! For now I’ll leave you with one of my favourite poems from Opus the Penguin.
How I love to watch the morn,
With golden sun that shines,
Up above to nicely warm
These frosty toes of mine.
The wind doth taste of bittersweet,
Like jasper wine and sugar,
I bet it’s blown through others’ feet,
Like those of…Caspar Weinberger.
[…] even got another installment of the Two Feet at a Time series […]
